Pond Dipping
Join the WWT team every day this summer to dip beneath the surface of our learning zone ponds and discover a world of fascinating little beings, each one armed with incredible adaptations to survive and thrive in their watery kingdom.
Pond dipping is a fun way to explore the hidden world of creatures that live in ponds. With friendly guidance, you will carefully collect aquatic invertebrates, insects and other small animals that live in our specially-designated dipping ponds and have a good look at them up close before returning them to their home.
For the tiniest organisms, we will zoom in on them using a strong microscope to unveil hidden features!
Great for all ages and a wonderful way to connect with nature, it's the perfect family activity.
