Martin Mere is unfortunately still closed to the public but our staff and volunteers are still hard at work on the reserve. The cold weather has brought in a good number of fieldfares and redwings; winter migrant thrushes to Britain.
A large flock of pink-footed geese arrived on the reserve, around 2000-3000 strong, on Friday, seemingly en route from North of us to somewhere further South.
