Yes, you can, although it is advisable for this to be worded as a request rather than a binding commitment in case circumstances at our sites and our specific projects change in the future meaning we may be unable to make the donation as specific.
We will always follow your specific wishes unless circumstances have changed and we will work with your chosen executors to make sure we do the very best to ensure your wishes are upheld.
If you would like to discuss specific wording for your Will please get in touch or speak with your solicitor for support.
Leaving a gift to WWT which is not restricted allows us to use your donation where the need is greatest at that time.

We would advise you to speak to your solicitor, as they will be able to provide appropriate wording for your Will. It may be helpful to provide your solicitor with our charity number 1030884 (England & Wales), SC039410 (Scotland). Please note that we are unable to provide legal advice.

Yes. You can write your Will for free, with our quick and easy Will writing service. We’ve partnered with expert Will writers, Octopus Legacy. This service is open to all our supporters and anyone thinking about writing their Will, whatever your age. The quickest way to write your Will is *online (available to supporters in England and Wales) using the code WWTFREE at checkout. Writing your Will online can be done in fifteen minutes. It's then verified by a group of solicitors and sent back to you.

This is a free Will writing service with no cost to you (each Will has a RRP of £90)
You will be asked to provide your credit or debit card number at the end of the process (at ‘checkout’). This is to act as an identity check to mitigate against fraud. You will be added to a £10 per year service designed to help save people money when they update their Wills - historically, solicitors can charge people for a new Will every time someone comes back to make a change. Using this £10 a year service our supporters can update their Will when needed without having to pay all over again. Your first year is free of charge. You will find;

- The first year of usage is free – you will not be charged upfront
- You will receive reminder emails before you are charged (as the 1 year mark approaches)
- You have the ability to cancel at any time (including immediately after submitting your Will for checking)

Yes. If the Will is simple, mirror Wills are free.
There are two options available to supporters to write a mirror Will with a partner.
The first being the usual online route. You can write your own Will using the WWT coupon code and mirror each other's wishes during that process.
OR
You can use the offline Free Will writing service, where you can have a mirrored Will drawn up in person or over the phone. You will just need to call the Octopus Legacy team on 020 4525 3605 to arrange an appointment and quote your charity (quote WWT) to obtain your free Will.
