Barnacle geese arrive?
We've had a lot of goose activity on the Reserve today with thousands of Pink-footed, Greylag and Canada Geese feeding and flying around the fields and merse! In with some Pink-feet were 3 Barnacle Geese which could well be our first few Svalbard Barnies

A very damp morning on the Reserve, but good weather for wildfowl! Plenty of Pink-footed Geese around today, good views of them at the back of the Folly Pond and flying around above many of the fields and the merse! Folly Pond Pink-footed Geese 12 Teal
