Explore the eek!citing and mysterious world of wetland nature
From the feathered and furry to the slimy and scaly, there are some truly weird and wonderful creatures that call wetlands home – and all are ready and waiting to be discovered by visitors as they make their way round the site keeping eyes peeled and ears pricked for a truly exciting eek!sperience.
With spooky interactive activities and scary trails to follow, visitors to Slimbridge are being dared to put their hands into a box to feel an eel, investigate owl poo, discover the textures of a newt and much more!
There’s also plenty for the whole family to discover this autumn, whether they’re looking for a fright or not - such as pond dipping daily 2-3pm, experiencing Slimbridge’s very own free, family friendly app – Wetland Heroes, watching Haha the North American river otter being fed or discovering the watery wonders of Toad Hall at daily talks.
The eek! week interactive trails are included as part of the centre admission price (free for WWT members and under 4’s).
