London Wetland Centre continues to undertake a series of refurbishments as we aim to provide new and enhanced experiences to all our visitors.
Consequently, there are a number of smaller-scale projects that are undergoing and take certain buildings out of commission temporally and/or a portion of our pathways diverted.
Recently, two of the bridges on the south route have had completely new decking installed, the wood used is Ekki from west Africa and is 30% denser than oak. Rated as very durable, with good weathering characteristics. This is part of a 5 year plan across the site to replace as many as we can on an annual basis.
Next on the agenda are:
Illuminature Trail Installations
Explore Playground
