Car Park

A Glossy Ibis flew over toward the South Lake early morning.

The continuing juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper with the Ruff, over the tide a juvenile Sanderling, 19 Ruff, 33 Ringed Plover, 51 Dunlin, Green Sandpiper, 2 juvenile Little-ringed Plover, Pintail, partially leucistic juvenile Marsh Harrier, 24 Wigeon, 240 Teal, Great Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, Ross's Goose and Canada x Barnacle Goose among the Canad/Barnacle Goose flock.

South Lake

34 Avocet, 11 Pochard, 14 Cormorant, 8 Pintail, 8+ Ruff, 172 Black-tailed Godwit, 100 Lapwing, flocks of Teal and Shoveler.

Rushy Hide

Among the roosting ducks and Lapwing- 7 Greenshank, 2 Spotted Redshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 8 Ruff and 4 Snipe.

Tack Piece

Green Sandpiper, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, 230 Teal, 5 Pintail and 34 Wigeon.

The Dumbles

A flock of Curlew gathered on the foreshore over high tide. Two adult Peregrine, an adult and juvenile Marsh Harrier also resting.

Middle Point

A Knot, two Sanderling, a Ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin and 2 Sanderling as the tide flooded. Wheatear, 5 Sand Martin and 20 Swallow among the migrants. 16 Little Egrets. Twelve Cranes on the sands before the tide came in, they are feeding in the barley crop in the Severn Ground.

Duck Decoy

Four Cattle Egret and 6 Little Egret relocated from their roost site in the Canoe Trail.
